Why Slow-Burn Horror Is The Most Terrifying Genre
It's a genre that's pretty different from movie to movie, even though the have the same slow build approach. As an example, the house of the devil is one of my favorite slow burn's ever, and i think around 80% of the movie just has sam on screen by herself. Not sure i'd call it slow burn. It's pretty nuts from beginning to the (amazing) end. That’s hands down one of my favorite depictions of satan/the devil in film.
